Job Summary

As the Maintenance Team Lead for Northern Germany, you will spearhead the operational setup and long-term maintenance of RWE's growing battery storage portfolio. During the construction phase, you will act as the primary operational contact, ensuring a seamless transition from project status to active operations. Once operational, you will lead a local maintenance team both technically and disciplinarily, taking full responsibility for plant availability, cost management, and safety (HSE). Your daily tasks involve troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing partner companies, and overseeing spare parts strategies. This role is unique as it offers the chance to build a new team from the ground up within a rapidly expanding green energy sector. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or maintenance
  • Professional experience in personnel leadership and team management
  • Proven experience in budget management and plant availability planning
  • Experience in managing external service providers and contract handling
  • Experience with work clearance and isolation procedures
