Job Summary
As the Maintenance Team Lead for Southern Germany, you will spearhead the establishment and leadership of a local maintenance team dedicated to RWE's expanding battery storage portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring the high availability and safe operation of battery storage power plants while managing technical, economic, and legal frameworks. Your daily responsibilities will include disciplinary leadership, budget planning, and overseeing complex maintenance procedures, including shutdown planning and partner company management. You will act as a technical problem-solver and a 'Responsible Qualified Electrician' (VEFK), ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in personnel leadership and team development
- Extensive experience in maintenance execution and shutdown planning
- Professional experience in budget management and resource planning
- Experience in managing external service providers and framework agreements
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake regular short-term business trips and participate in on-call shifts. Role includes serving as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) for the assigned area.
