Job Summary

As an Expert Service Engineer at Vodafone, you will take end-to-end responsibility for one or more business services, ensuring smooth operations and high service availability. Your daily tasks involve acting as the service concept owner, maintaining technical documentation, and analyzing national and international customer requirements for feasibility and cost. You will drive continuous improvement through problem management, define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and manage KPIs to proactively address quality issues. The role includes providing second-level support, configuring tool landscapes, and steering external service providers. This position is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of operational stability, project-based upgrades, and process optimization. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with sales, engineering, and implementation teams to represent operational requirements and ensure top-tier service quality for mobile and fixed-line telecommunications networks.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a comparable vocational training qualification.

Experience

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a relevant technical field
  • Proven experience in project management and presentation techniques
  • Experience in developing and optimizing process and tool automation
  • Professional experience with network, transmission, and signaling protocols
  • Experience in steering external service providers and third parties
