Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Technical Facility Management at IT.NRW, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness of technical systems and infrastructure for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Your daily responsibilities will include managing diverse projects from initial requirements gathering and procurement to planning, implementation, and final handover to regular operations. You will focus on modernizing technical systems, particularly within high-availability data center environments, while also addressing organizational, conceptual, and sustainability topics. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Fachhochschule) in Engineering specializing in Technical Building Equipment (TGA), Architecture, or a related field; alternatively, a qualification as a Technical Business Administrator in TGA or Architecture.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and planning/modernization of Technical Building Equipment (TGA) and buildings
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project management
  • Experience in managing technical projects from requirements gathering through to handover
  • Experience working with technical systems in high-availability environments like data centers is preferred

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Successful completion of a security clearance according to § 11 SÜG NRW is mandatory (initiated during the hiring process). Location-based travel for site visits and audits may be required.
