Job Summary
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the independent installation and commissioning of network components across Southern Germany and the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan area. Working for an international IT systems house that develops its own hardware and software, your daily tasks will include the physical assembly, cabling, and power supply setup of network hardware. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting all technical processes within a ticket system. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy field work and customer interaction. The position offers a structured onboarding process, continuous product training, and modern IT equipment including a notebook and smartphone. It begins as a temporary placement with a clear option for permanent takeover by the client, providing long-term security in a technologically innovative environment with flat hierarchies.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electronician, Information Electronician, or Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology) and a qualification as a Certified Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft).
Experience
- Professional experience in technical installation or electronics
- Experience in assembly and cabling of technical components
- Experience working independently in a customer-oriented field service environment
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. Willingness to travel within the assigned service area (Southern Germany and Frankfurt) is required.
