As an IT Field Service Technician in Salzgitter, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of workplace hardware within the commercial vehicle division of a renowned automotive company. Your daily activities center around 'IMAC' services—Install, Move, Add, Change—which include setting up PCs, notebooks, and monitors directly at user workstations. You will handle hardware transport from local storage, perform basic software installations, and manage the return and palletization of legacy equipment. Beyond physical setup, you will troubleshoot technical faults, manage inventory, and document all activities within a ticketing system.
