Job Summary
As an IT Field Service Technician in Berlin, you will be the hands-on technical expert for an expanding IT consulting firm. Your daily responsibilities include the installation and integration of software, operating systems, and specialized applications. You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of a diverse hardware landscape, including servers, storage systems, PCs, notebooks, POS systems, and printers from various manufacturers. Beyond hardware support, you will conduct systematic error analyses, optimize systems, perform regular data backups, and assist with critical system upgrades and testing. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who enjoy a mix of technical troubleshooting and customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Systems Integration Specialist, IT Customer Support, IT Systems Electronic Technician, or Information Electronics Technician) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar IT support role
- Practical experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware from various manufacturers
- Experience in installing and configuring Microsoft-based operating systems and applications
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. This position is initially via temporary employment with an option for permanent takeover.
