Job Summary

As an IT Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Development and Digitalization/IT department at the Federal University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration, specifically within the Bundeswehr Administration faculty. Your core responsibilities will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the university's IT systems and infrastructure, including planning, implementing, and maintaining IT networks tailored to academic needs. You will also be involved in setting up, configuring, and maintaining servers and Windows domains, managing group policies, and ensuring data backup concepts are up-to-date. This role requires administering Bundeswehr IT procedures for the department, acting as an ordering authority for BWI services, and providing essential IT support to students and faculty.
