Job Summary
This role involves critical administration and configuration of the Hospital Information System (HIS) at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Hamburg, ensuring optimal system performance and continuous operation. Day-to-day tasks include independent troubleshooting, resolving errors, adapting configurations based on user requests, and implementing technical requirements for the HIS design and operation. The specialist will also conduct complex data evaluations, perform queries on clinical data, and provide technical support during and after the implementation of specialized medical applications and their interfaces. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Application Development, and a commitment to continuous professional development. The position offers an attractive, permanent, full-time contract with competitive public sector compensation (TVöD E 9b), flexible working hours, the possibility of remote work, and participation in an on-call rotation outside regular hours to maintain essential hospital services.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Application Development; ITIL Foundation Certification (Desired); ITIL Managing Professional Certification (Desired)
Experience
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Application Development
- Professional experience in HTML and Oracle SQL (Desired)
- Professional experience in Oracle database administration, network technology, and Windows server operating systems (Desired)
- Professional experience with hospital-specific processes regarding IT systems, including HL7 communication (Desired)
- Professional experience in project management and virtualization fundamentals (Desired)
