Job Summary

This part-time position (50% FTE) within the Finance and Assets department focuses on managing the financial activities for 28 independent and trust foundations. The day-to-day responsibilities involve performing proper accounting, processing ongoing payment transactions, and maintaining donor contact data. You will be responsible for creating donation receipts, managing direct debits, and providing essential support for the preparation of annual financial statements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in tax or commercial accounting who enjoys working with numbers and values-driven organizations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or a comparable commercial vocational qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial accounting or as a tax assistant
  • Experience in maintaining accounting and donor databases
  • Proven experience in preparing annual financial statements and account reconciliation
  • Practical experience using DATEV and MS Office applications
