Job Summary

As a Foundation Accountant, you will join the Finance and Assets department to manage the financial operations for 28 independent and fiduciary foundations. Your daily responsibilities include maintaining proper accounting records, processing payment transactions, and managing donor data, including the issuance of donation certificates and thank-you letters. You will play a critical role in preparing annual financial statements by ensuring account accuracy and generating detailed evaluations. This part-time position (50% / 19.5 hours per week) offers a unique opportunity to work within a value-oriented environment focused on promoting education, culture, and social welfare. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or a comparable commercial/business vocational qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial accounting or tax consultancy
  • Practical experience using DATEV software for accounting purposes
  • Experience in processing payment transactions and maintaining financial data
  • Experience in preparing documentation for annual financial statements
  • Experience working within a structured and independent administrative environment
