Job Summary

This part-time role (50% FTE) is based within the Finance and Assets department, specifically focusing on the management of 28 independent foundations and trust funds. As an Accountant for Foundations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and payment transactions for various charitable entities. Your work directly supports missions ranging from education and arts to monument protection and youth welfare. Key tasks include maintaining donor databases, processing direct debits, issuing donation certificates, and preparing preliminary work for annual financial statements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in tax or commercial accounting who enjoys working with numbers and values-based organizations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or a comparable commercial vocational qualification.
