Job Summary

As the Head of Administration for the Pastoral Space in Ibbenbüren, you will play a pivotal role in restructuring the Catholic Church's administrative operations. You will lead all non-pastoral staff, including administrative assistants, musicians, sextons, and facility management personnel. Your primary mission is to relieve lead pastors of operational administrative burdens by managing personnel, budgeting, accounting, and real estate matters. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys shaping new organizational structures and navigating complex change processes. You will act as a strategic advisor to church boards, ensuring efficient investment measures and structured workflows. Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH/Bachelor) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Administrative Course II or Diploma in Public Administration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial management, specifically in Cameralistics or New Municipal Finance (NKF)
  • Proven leadership experience and competence in managing diverse teams
  • Experience in designing and leading organizational change processes
  • Experience in committee work and navigating administrative structures
  • Professional background in church or public administration is highly desirable
