Job Summary

As the Head of Administration for the Pastoral Space in Ibbenbüren, you will play a pivotal role in restructuring the Catholic Church's local administrative framework. Your daily responsibilities include managing the administration of parish communities and leading all non-pastoral staff, such as secretarial, musical, and facility management personnel. You will act as a strategic partner to the leading pastors by taking over operational administrative tasks and advising parish councils on human resources, budgeting, accounting, and property management. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys shaping new organizational structures and navigating complex change processes. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Administrative Examination II / Dipl. Verwaltungswirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of finance, specifically in Cameralistic or New Municipal Finance (NKF) accounting
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage diverse teams of non-pastoral staff
  • Experience in managing organizational change processes and restructuring
  • Experience working with committees and administrative boards, preferably within church structures
  • Professional background in public administration or business management
