Job Summary

As a Biostatistician within the R&D Diagnostics division at Roche, you will serve as the analytical engine behind the next generation of medical diagnostic tools. Working in a multidisciplinary environment across global sites like Penzberg, Mannheim, and Indianapolis, you will generate the statistical evidence required for worldwide regulatory approvals of life-saving tests. Your day-to-day involves planning and executing complex statistical analyses, developing analysis pipelines using state-of-the-art methods and machine learning, and programming primarily in R. A unique aspect of this role is acting as a 'Statistical Translator,' where you will present complex findings to partners in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and R&D. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and students while contributing to a global 'Community of Practice' to advance programming standards.
