This role is situated within the Central Technology department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police in Mainz, specifically supporting the 'Police 20/20' (P20) program—the state's most significant IT initiative. As a specialist in quality, requirements, and configuration management, you will be responsible for developing standards and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery throughout the product lifecycle. Day-to-day activities include checking and bundling program requirements, ensuring consistent product configurations across projects, and representing the program's interests in state and federal committees. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Master) with an IT focus or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience

- Extensive experience in creating technical and conceptual documentation
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies
- Familiarity with the 'Police 20/20' (P20) program or similar public sector IT frameworks

- Must successfully pass a security clearance check according to the Land Security Clearance Act (LSÜG). Willingness to undertake business travel is required. Appointment is temporary (expected until March 31, 2027) as a substitute position.
