Job Summary
This role within the Police Administration Department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police Headquarters focuses on managing financial contracts and processing invoices. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting payment obligations, supporting financial planning, processing incoming invoices, handling reminders, and issuing payment orders using the IRMA IT system. The position also involves acting as a substitute for the cash office. Candidates will work within a team of 18 professionals managing state budget affairs, procurement projects, and IT infrastructure financing. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or a comparable three-year commercial apprenticeship.
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial or administrative sectors
- Experience in contract management
- Experience in accounts payable processing (invoicing)
- Familiarity with public sector financial regulations (LHO) and administrative guidelines
Languages
Additional
- Security clearance according to the State Security Check Act (LSÜG) is required. Must be willing to sign a declaration of loyalty to the constitution. Must provide a copy of a personal ID or passport for background verification. Position is limited until July 31, 2028. Employment is subject to a reliability check.
