Job Summary

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Fab IT Service team, you will serve as the primary technical contact for manufacturing operations at a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in Dresden. Your daily responsibilities include fulfilling IT service requests, gathering user requirements to bridge the gap between operations and product development, and responding to critical system alerts to maintain production stability. A significant part of the role involves developing intelligent monitoring systems to automate system recovery and diagnostics. This position is particularly unique as it offers an early-career opportunity to join a high-profile joint venture between TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP. Successful candidates may undergo up to one year of specialized on-the-job training at TSMC’s advanced manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, providing unparalleled exposure to global semiconductor operations and digital transformation in a fast-paced, international startup environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of IT experience, including internships, in software engineering or IT-related roles
  • Professional experience with software engineering concepts and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated experience in programming and development using Python, Go, or Node.js
  • Experience in customer service or user-facing technical support roles

Additional

  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training in Taiwan for up to one year. Proficiency in Mandarin is accepted as an alternative to German proficiency. Must submit resume in English.
