Job Summary

This role seeks a highly experienced Chemical Distribution Systems Engineer to serve as the system owner and subject matter expert for Chemical Dispense Systems (CDS), Gas Dispense Systems (GDS), and Slurry Dispense Systems (SDS) at a new, state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in Dresden. The engineer will ensure operational excellence, system safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and innovation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance plans (PM/CM), standard operating procedures (SOPs), analyzing performance data for efficiency gains, and supporting major project involvement, including system design, construction, and commissioning for new installations. This is a unique opportunity to join a major joint venture (TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, NXP) at its foundational stage, actively shaping the future of European semiconductor manufacturing.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience with Gas & Chemical Dispense Systems in design, construction, commissioning, and operations
  • Strong knowledge in operation and regulatory compliance of industrial processing plant or semiconductor experience
  • Experience with facilities engineering of industrial processing plant
  • Experience with project management and troubleshooting
