Job Summary

This critical role involves overseeing the management, expansion, and modification of the facility's Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) to ensure a stable and reliable supply of utilities for a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility in Dresden. The engineer will be instrumental in executing the startup of new facility systems, coordinating closely with outsourcing contractors for system enhancements and scheduled maintenance, and streamlining organizational workflows for efficiency. A key focus is strengthening the system's defense capabilities regarding reliability and quality. The position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in instrument and control system engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry. This is a unique opportunity to actively shape the future of a major European semiconductor fab, working in a fast-paced international startup environment backed by industry leaders like TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP. Fluent German and English skills are essential for effective cross-functional communication and collaboration with both internal and external teams.
