Job Summary

This role involves working at the Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Freiburg, specifically within the LC-Contaminants and EURL-POPs laboratory. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the independent analysis of extracts using advanced LC-DAD and LC-MS/MS techniques. Your daily tasks include evaluating and documenting result data, maintaining analytical equipment, and developing or validating new analytical methods. You will also support the processing of organic contaminants in food samples through homogenization and extraction. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), or a comparable recognized professional qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA)
  • Experience in analytical laboratory work using modern techniques
  • Experience with liquid chromatography (LC) procedures is preferred
  • Experience in the operation and technical maintenance of measuring instruments is preferred
  • Professional experience in evaluating and documenting valid analytical data
