As a Commissioning Technician for Functional Testing, you will play a critical role in the final stages of rail vehicle production. Your daily responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive functional tests on rail vehicles according to strict testing instructions. You will be tasked with the independent setup and verification of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. A significant portion of the role focuses on advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics using circuit diagrams, technical specifications, and drawings to resolve complex faults in software, climate control systems, and electronics. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician; ideally with further qualification as an Electrical Technician (Elektrotechniker) or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in commissioning or functional testing of complex technical systems
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults
- Experience working with electrically active assemblies and devices
- Proven ability to work from technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and functional plans
Languages
Additional
- Must be willing to work in confined spaces (e.g., control cabinets) and at heights up to 4 meters using roof work platforms. Strict adherence to safety and EHS regulations is required. Permanent full-time position.
