Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer for Test Fields, you will be responsible for the forward-looking optimization of electrical testing environments. Your day-to-day activities involve developing innovative approaches to increase efficiency and quality, as well as planning, procuring, and implementing test fields in close coordination with manufacturing and engineering teams. You will take charge of planning new switchgear systems and modifying existing installations, ensuring all processes integrate seamlessly. Additionally, you will act as a key interface for technical troubleshooting and spearhead the introduction of new measuring devices and methods from development through to series production. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to build cross-industry expertise within a global engineering service provider, offering the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from medium-sized enterprises to DAX-listed corporations.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical measurement technology and testing procedures
  • Professional experience in handling, testing, and optimizing switchgear systems
  • Experience in coordinating with manufacturing, development, and engineering teams
  • Experience in implementing new measuring methods and devices for series production
