Job Summary

As the Associate Director of Data Science, you will lead the development and validation of digital biomarkers and clinical endpoints within a global Healthcare organization. Your daily responsibilities involve spearheading the design of machine learning-driven algorithms and data processing pipelines to extract insights from high-volume sources like wearables, sensors, and mobile apps. You will collaborate with the Global Digital Health team to integrate these technologies into clinical trials and life cycle management programs. A key part of the role includes staying at the forefront of AI, exploring Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems to automate workflows and support data interpretation. This position is unique for its focus on high-impact innovation, allowing you to drive regulatory readiness for novel digital health technologies and champion scientific excellence in a diverse, inclusive environment dedicated to improving patient lives through cutting-edge digital health analytics.

Required Skills

Education

PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, or Physics.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, digital health, or AI/ML industry
  • Proven track record in designing and validating digital endpoints or biomarkers for clinical applications
  • Hands-on experience processing large-scale data streams from wearables, sensors, and smartphones
  • Experience building machine learning pipelines for feature extraction and signal processing
  • Professional experience with scalable data processing and distributed frameworks
  • Experience with regulatory filings and scientific publications in the R&D community
