As the Head of Administration for the Pastoral Space in Ibbenbüren, you will play a pivotal role in restructuring the administrative landscape of the Catholic Church within the Diocese of Münster. This senior leadership position involves managing the administration of multiple parishes and leading all non-pastoral staff, including administrative assistants, musicians, sextons, and facility management personnel. Your daily responsibilities will focus on relieving lead pastors of operational administrative burdens by overseeing personnel management, budgeting, accounting, real estate, and investment projects. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Administrative Training II or Diploma in Public Administration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial management, specifically in Cameralistics or New Municipal Finance (NKF)
  • Extensive leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams of non-pastoral staff
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing organizational change processes
  • Experience in working with committees and administrative boards
  • Professional background within church administrative structures is highly preferred
