This role involves the technical management and implementation of hydrographic projects within the Elbe-North Sea Waterways and Shipping Office. Based in Hamburg or Cuxhaven, the successful candidate will focus on optimizing daily sounding operations through modern surveying and data analysis methods. Key responsibilities include procuring replacement surveying systems for vessels, piloting new measurement methods, and conducting 'Dune Tracking' to analyze underwater dunes for efficient dredging planning. You will also support sediment management tasks and test innovative digital measurement tools (Smart-BWaStr).
