Job Summary

The Federal Railway Authority (EBA) is seeking an Environmental Protection Officer for its South division, with locations available in Karlsruhe, Munich, or Nuremberg. In this role, you will be responsible for environmental supervision and monitoring of railway facilities, ensuring compliance with emission control, water protection, and plant protection regulations. Your daily tasks will include conducting water law permit procedures, issuing exemptions for vegetation control on tracks, and handling administrative orders to prevent public safety hazards. You will act as a key representative for the authority when dealing with federal railways, other government agencies, and third parties.
