Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support and advisory services regarding travel expenses and separation allowances for the Bundeswehr Service Center in Hammelburg. You will be responsible for calculating, determining, and processing payments for personnel on assignments, secondments, or transfers. Key tasks include assisting staff with the internal accounting system (Stiewi), verifying formal accuracy of applications, and preparing cash orders. Additionally, you will manage military pay for voluntary service members and assist with legal protests or complaints regarding expense settlements. This position offers a stable career in the public service (TVöD E 8) with the flexibility of mobile work and telecommuting options. It is an ideal role for detail-oriented professionals with a background in public administration or commerce who enjoy structured processes and providing internal advisory support.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), successful completion of the Administrative Specialist Examination I (Fachprüfung I), or a comparable commercial vocational qualification.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience using MS Office and email applications in a work environment
- Professional experience in administrative or commercial processing
- Experience in calculating travel costs or separation allowances is preferred
- Experience working within a public administration framework
