This unique role within the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) involves a dual-phase career path starting as an Electrician and transitioning into a Simulator Systems Operator for a modern indoor shooting range. Day-to-day, you will maintain electrical equipment, building energy systems, and automation controls, including troubleshooting and safety measurements. As you transition to the simulator role, you will operate high-tech interactive target systems, perform hit analysis reporting, and manage video recording for military training. The position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of traditional electrical maintenance and advanced technology operation. It offers the stability of a permanent public service contract (TVöD), health programs, and comprehensive training. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Electrician for Energy and Building Technology or an Electrician for Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in control and regulation technology, safety lighting, or fire and burglary alarm systems.
  • Professional experience in general electrotechnical building infrastructure.
  • Experience in performing electrical installations and safety inspections.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and rectifying electrical faults and short circuits.
