Job Summary

This role involves training the next generation of IT professionals within the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) at the training workshop in Weener. As an Instructor for IT Systems Integration, you will be responsible for the day-to-day theoretical and practical instruction of apprentices, guiding them in the use of specialized tools, measuring devices, and network infrastructure. You will oversee project-oriented training phases, evaluate performance, and prepare students for their final examinations. Beyond teaching, you will maintain and develop the training facility's IT infrastructure and represent the organization at career fairs. This position is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys mentoring and wants to contribute to a structured, public service environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a related field. Trainer Aptitude Certification (AEVO) is required or must be obtained.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT systems integration or a related field
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in the learned occupation is preferred
  • Experience in project and IT service management (ideally certified)
  • Experience with network and server technology
  • Experience in object-oriented programming

Additional

  • Must demonstrate commitment to the free democratic basic order as defined by the Basic Law. Work is performed on-site at the facility in Weener. Certified German translations of foreign application documents and recognition of foreign educational qualifications are required.
