Job Summary
As an IT Service Technician for a nationwide service provider in Nuremberg, you will be responsible for 2nd level on-site support and field services. Your daily activities will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing PCs and notebooks, and managing redundant network environments. You will play a key role in the entire lifecycle of client systems, from initial hardware setup and warranty processing to data recovery and documentation within a ticketing system. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and direct user support. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in 2nd level IT support environments
- Experience in the commissioning and setup of hardware
- Proven background in hardware and software troubleshooting and fault rectification
- Experience with client systems including PCs, notebooks, and printers
Languages
Additional
- A Class B driver's license is desirable. The position is located in Nuremberg and involves on-site/field service activities.
