As a Principal Engineer for Product Definition, you will join a high-impact Research & Development team focused on shaping the next generation of DC/DC Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC). Your day-to-day responsibilities involve gathering market intelligence and customer feedback to define product specifications, collaborating with innovation teams on complex schematic and PCB designs, and overseeing magnetics and thermal simulations. You will play a pivotal role in component selection, BOM management, and competitive benchmarking to ensure market leadership. Required Skills
Education
University Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics); MSc or PhD preferred.
Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering
- 8+ years of specific experience within high-frequency, high-current, and high-density IBC modules
- Extensive experience in magnetics design and power-loss estimation
- Proven track record in system innovation and product qualification

- The position is a full-time, permanent contract (Unbefristet). Employment is subject to the collective salary and wage agreement for the electrical and electronics industry (Employment Group I).
