Job Summary

This role involves providing critical 1st and 2nd level onsite IT support for a company in the automotive industry based in Braunschweig. As an Onsite IT Support Technician, you will be the face of IT service, assisting users personally at the Service Point and resolving technical issues both remotely and in person. Your daily responsibilities will include repairing hardware such as desktops, notebooks, tablets, and mobile hand scanners, as well as performing software and operating system installations. You will manage incoming requests through a ticketing system and ensure smooth IT operations within a modern work environment. This position offers a stable, long-term perspective with regular working hours and the opportunity for permanent hire. It is an ideal role for a service-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on hardware maintenance and direct user interaction in a dynamic industrial setting.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification).

Experience

  • Professional experience in providing user support and technical assistance
  • Practical experience using IT ticketing systems for incident management
  • Hands-on experience in hardware maintenance and software troubleshooting
  • Experience working within a 1st or 2nd level support environment
