Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the 'Indoor Hygiene and Health-Related Environmental Impacts' department focuses on environmental hygiene and human biomonitoring. As a Chemical Technical Assistant or Chemistry Laboratory Technician, you will perform experimental laboratory work to investigate health-related environmental stressors. Your daily responsibilities include the analytical determination of human samples (urine and blood) using advanced instrumentation such as LC-MS, AFS, and ICP-MS. You will also manage sample preparation, aliquotting, and the maintenance of laboratory equipment. A significant portion of the role involves quality management documentation and ensuring the laboratory meets strict testing standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Chemistry Laboratory Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in analytical methods such as ICP-MS, AFS, or LC-MS
- Experience in the safe and careful handling of potentially infectious biological materials (urine and blood)
- Experience working within a quality-assured environment according to testing and calibration laboratory standards
- Professional experience in laboratory documentation and QM systems
