Job Summary

Join a leading water analytics laboratory focused on developing innovative monitoring methods for assessing water and soil quality. In this role, you will develop scientific questions regarding the occurrence and behavior of organic substances in the environment, and design analytical methods for sample preparation and content determination, with a focus on soils. You will be responsible for data evaluation, preparation, and presentation of results for the scientific community through lectures and publications. This position offers the opportunity to initiate and manage research projects, collaborating with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's or Diploma degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences with a strong analytical chemistry focus, coupled with proven experience in scientific work and instrumental analytics.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree, University Diploma, or equivalent in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a comparable degree with a strong chemical-analytical focus.

Experience

  • Proven experience in scientific work and publication of research results
  • Several years of practical experience in instrumental analytics (e.g., LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, HR-MS)
  • Experience in screening methods using GC-HRMS including data and statistical evaluation (desirable)
