Job Summary

As a Process and Financial Manager at the German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of EU climate protection instruments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing business processes related to emissions trading, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and the FuelEU Maritime regulation. You will handle payment procedures, manage departmental budgets, and oversee administrative financial tasks. The ideal candidate holds a degree in public administration or economics and possesses strong skills in organizational theory and budgetary accounting. You will work within a collaborative team dedicated to sustainability and the socio-economic transformation of climate policy. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Public Administration, Economics, or a comparable field; or completion of the career examination for the senior non-technical administrative service; or completed training as a certified administrative specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt).
