Job Summary

As an IT Onsite Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for hardware and software support at client locations. Your daily responsibilities include setting up workstations, installing and configuring systems, and providing user training. You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving technical issues across desktop systems, notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices. Additionally, you will perform network troubleshooting, support large-scale rollouts, and maintain detailed documentation within ticket and asset management systems. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and regional travel. The position offers an attractive compensation package above standard tariff rates, up to 30 days of vacation, and the stability of a permanent contract with a leading German IT service provider managing over 600,000 workstations globally.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in troubleshooting Windows clients, notebooks, and printers
  • Practical experience in using IT ticketing systems for incident documentation
  • Experience in onsite customer service and user instruction
  • Proven track record in hardware installation and software configuration
