Job Summary

As an Onsite Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for technical assistance across Munich and Southern Bavaria. Your daily responsibilities involve performing maintenance and troubleshooting for desktops, notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices. You will actively analyze and resolve hardware, network, and Windows client issues while documenting all activities within standard ticketing systems. Beyond technical repairs, you will manage the physical setup and configuration of workstations and provide essential user training for new systems and mobile devices. This role is ideal for a customer-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical problem-solving and direct user interaction. The position offers an attractive compensation package above standard collective agreements, up to 30 days of vacation, and the stability of a permanent contract with a leading German IT service provider managing over 600,000 workstations globally.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronic Technician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in troubleshooting desktops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Practical knowledge of standard software, operating systems, and Active Directory administration
  • Experience in documenting and processing support requests via ticketing systems
  • Proven track record in customer-oriented service and structured problem-solving

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to travel to customer sites within Munich and Southern Bavaria.
