Job Summary

The City of Ratingen is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the Department of Social Services, Disability Coordination, Housing Assistance, and Housing Benefit. In this role, you will manage a team of approximately 30 employees and oversee critical social welfare functions, including the administration of SGB XII, the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act, and housing grants. Your daily responsibilities will involve making decisions on complex benefit cases, coordinating disability affairs, and managing the strategic direction of housing for homeless individuals and refugees. You will act as a key liaison for social organizations, negotiate with cooperation partners, and manage the office for war graves commission.
