As the Head of Building Services for the City of Ratingen, you will lead a department of 58 employees across facility management, caretaker services, and procurement. You will be responsible for preparing technical decisions for senior management, drafting political resolutions, and managing the departmental budget. Required Skills

Education

Degree for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (formerly elevated non-technical administrative service), successful completion of Administrative Course II (formerly Employee Course II), or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in public administration or equivalent roles (Grade A9/EG 9b or higher)
  • 1 year of leadership experience specifically as a Head of Section or equivalent
  • Experience in coordinating EU-wide tender procedures and implementing service contracts
  • Proven experience in personnel management and modern leadership styles
