Job Summary

The City of Ratingen is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join its Civil Engineering Office within the Urban Drainage department. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, tendering, and awarding of contracts for new construction, expansion, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems for stormwater basins and pumping stations. A key focus is ensuring that these critical infrastructure projects are implemented while maintaining continuous operations. You will manage external engineering firms, oversee project quality and costs, and develop long-term rehabilitation concepts and investment plans. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale infrastructure network comprising 450 km of sewers and 236 specialized structures, with an annual investment volume exceeding 1 million euros. Required Skills

Education
