Job Summary
This role at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg focuses on the strategic and operational implementation of digitalization projects within the Finance Department. You will be responsible for modernizing administrative workflows, specifically digitizing travel expense processes and advancing the university's Document Management System (DMS) and Workflow Management Systems. Key tasks include process modeling, stakeholder communication, and managing external software providers to ensure efficient, legally secure, and transparent administrative operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital infrastructure of a historic educational institution. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Public Management, or a related field; or equivalent vocational training with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Professional experience in process management and modeling
- Practical experience with DMS and workflow solutions
- Experience in managing complex IT projects is desirable
- Experience in preparing decision templates for administrative processes

- Fixed-term contract until 31.12.2026. Candidate must not have been previously employed by the State of Saxony-Anhalt (pursuant to § 14 Para. 2 TzBfG). Foreign degrees require a Statement of Comparability from the ZAB.
