Job Summary

As a SecOps Engineer, you will join the Cloud Operation Hub, the central engine for modern cloud solutions supporting the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Your daily responsibilities involve designing, operating, and optimizing productive Kubernetes clusters while ensuring 'Security by Design' through vulnerability analyses and system hardening. You will take end-to-end ownership of cloud-native solutions, managing everything from Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation to 1st and 2nd level support with a focus on root-cause analysis. This role is highly impactful, as you will be building the technical foundation for digital sovereignty and resilience in one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable professional experience with a completed vocational training qualification.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in demanding DevOps, Cloud, or Platform environments
Professional experience in designing, operating, and optimizing productive Kubernetes clusters
Experience in developing with modern programming languages and clean software design
Professional experience in Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments
Experience in vulnerability analysis and system security hardening
