This role at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) involves managing the financial health and procurement processes for the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS). On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will oversee budget controlling, calculate personnel costs, and manage the billing of third-party funds and special allocations. A significant portion of the role focuses on coordinating the procurement of IT hardware and software, including supporting tender processes and contract management. Required Skills

Education

University degree with a focus on Controlling, Accounting, Finance, or a similar relevant field with equivalent knowledge and skills.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of financial controlling is required
  • Experience in budget management, including personnel cost calculation and third-party funding
  • Experience in coordinating and executing procurement processes, specifically for IT equipment
  • Experience in contract management and advising on financial staffing requirements

Additional
