Job Summary

This full-time research position at the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry at TU Dresden focuses on the synthesis and development of highly porous functionalized carbon materials for electro-adsorptive CO2 capture. As a PostDoc or Research Associate, you will be responsible for the structural and physicochemical characterization of materials using advanced analytical methods such as powder diffractometry, Raman spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. You will also conduct electrochemical characterizations, including cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. The role is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with project partners, participation in network meetings, and the presentation of results at international conferences. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master or Diploma) in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field; ideally a PhD/Doctorate for PostDoc level.

Experience

  • Practical experience with analytical methods, specifically adsorption measurements
  • Experience in electrochemical characterization and measurement techniques
