Job Summary

As a Mobile Communications Technical Implementation Specialist for the North Rhine-Westphalia Police in Duisburg, you will play a critical role in ensuring the internal security of the state by managing and developing police mobile networks. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning and designing mobile communication systems, creating security and operational concepts, and conducting traffic and capacity planning. You will act as a technical consultant for local police authorities, advising them on mobile coverage and the implementation of new technologies. Working within interdisciplinary teams, you will tackle diverse technical challenges to maintain mission-critical communication infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical/scientific field; alternatively, a State-Certified Technician, (Industrial) Master, or Operative Professional qualification.

Experience

  • 3 years in communications engineering, electrical engineering, or information technology with a university degree
  • 3 years in a relevant technical field with a state-certified technician or master craftsman qualification
  • 6 years in mobile communications for candidates with a general degree or vocational training
  • Professional experience in planning and configuring mobile communication systems
  • Experience in interdisciplinary project teams

Additional
