Job Summary

This role involves working within the IT Engineering and Middleware department for the North Rhine-Westphalia Police. You will be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and operational support of the Oracle database infrastructure that powers critical police case management systems. Your day-to-day work includes designing technical solutions, creating concept papers, providing 3rd-level support for service requests, and managing test and development environments. You will also consult with various stakeholders and project teams to ensure system stability and performance. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent; OR vocational training with advanced certification as a Technician/Operative Professional; OR vocational training in IT/Telecommunications.

Experience

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a university degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with technical vocational training and advanced certifications (Technician or Operative Professional).
  • 6 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with standard vocational training in IT or telecommunications.
