Job Summary

This role is based at the Chair of Circuit Design and Network Theory (PSN) at TU Dresden, one of the leading institutes in integrated circuit design. As a Research Associate, you will focus on the design and simulation of broadband, high-efficiency power amplifiers for next-generation 6G communication. Your daily responsibilities include circuit layout and implementation using modern semiconductor technologies, as well as conducting measurements and analysis in a state-of-the-art laboratory. A significant part of the role involves publishing research findings in prestigious scientific journals and presenting at international conferences. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to pursue a doctorate (PhD) while working on the BMBF-funded '6Glife2' project. You will be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working on cutting-edge technologies that span frequency ranges from 1.8 GHz to 6.5 GHz, covering standards like DECT NR+, WiFi, and WiFi 6E.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in circuit design and high-frequency technology
  • Experience in IC design, specifically with CAD tools for simulation and layout
  • Experience in independent scientific research and flexible problem-solving
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary team environments
