Job Summary

This role at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) involves working on an interdisciplinary research project focused on the analysis, modeling, and simulation of realistic traffic scenarios. As a Research Associate, you will operate at the intersection of computer science, data analysis, and automotive engineering. Your day-to-day tasks will include deriving data-based traffic scenarios from accident and observation data, parameterizing traffic flow models, and conducting simulations to study interactions between road users. You will utilize world-class facilities, including a high-immersion driving simulator and specialized vehicle physics test benches. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a clear path toward a PhD (doctorate) and allows you to contribute to international standards like ASAM OpenSCENARIO. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners in a modern, inclusive university culture that values innovation and interdisciplinary research.
