Job Summary

This role involves the planning, implementation, and management of demanding federal construction projects within the State Construction Management of Hannover. You will be responsible for the technical building equipment (TGA) across various phases (HOAI 1-9), focusing on quality, scheduling, and cost control. Key tasks include managing external engineering firms, optimizing processes for climate neutrality, and standardizing federal construction projects. The position is unique for its high-impact public sector projects, offering a secure, permanent contract with flexible working hours (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM core time), home office options, and a structured onboarding process. You will work in an interdisciplinary team environment, providing expert advice to clients while ensuring high-level project management standards for complex federal buildings.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study. For civil servants: Qualification for Career Group 2, 1st entry office, Technical Services branch.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning and construction supervision of technical building systems
  • Experience in the field of medium voltage systems is desirable
  • Proven experience in project management for complex construction measures
  • Experience in managing external engineering firms and service providers
  • Familiarity with German public construction regulations and procurement law
